Lynn’s first Diversity Matters Festival, organized by North Shore Juneteenth Association, Inc. and sponsored by the Essex County Community Foundation, took place on the last weekend in August 2021. The event was a family-friendly festival with activities, vendors, music, food, and more.

Partners in this event also included Creative Collective, North Shore Juneteenth, The Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio, Save the Harbor Save the Bay, Total Inspiration Athletics, Marblehead School of Music, and the Essex County Community Foundation’s Creative County Initiative!
This well-attended event took place in the highly visible well-trafficked area of Red Rock Park in Lynn, Ma and highlighted the diversity in the North Shore community and showcased the benefit of having such a diverse population, offering performances of multi-cultural Dance, Music, Poetry, and Yoga Demonstration.
