On Wednesday, December 21st 2022 at 12pm local members of the Jewish community and their allies gathered in Lappin Park for the annual lighting of the menorah in Salem. The small event was led by Rabbi Yossi Lipsker of Chabad of the North Shore and was attended by local Salem dignitaries including Senator Joan lovely, District Attorney elect Paul Tucker, and several city councilors.

The community will gather again in Salem this Saturday, December 24th at 6:30pm for the final lighting of the season.
