The Hippie Bean Co. is a hand-dyed apparel brand built on creativity, inclusivity, and color, based in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Founded in 2020 by Remy Collins, a 31-year-old mama to two boys, the business started when Remy realized how dull and repetitive baby clothes were and wanted to bring more personality into her son’s wardrobe. What began as a way to add spunk and color to her oldest bean’s closet quickly grew into a full-blown small business built around joy, confidence, and self-expression. Every piece of tie-dye apparel is hand-dyed by Remy herself—no production line, just a mama in her creative flow, sometimes with a baby on her hip. The Hippie Bean Co. offers one-of-a-kind tie-dye clothing for all ages, custom orders, bulk designs with graphics and logos, and interactive patch bars and tie-dye parties that transform ordinary spaces into bright, creative, hands-on experiences. The Hippie Bean Story

Hello, lil’ beans! Remy Collins started The Hippie Bean Co. when her oldest son inspired her to make baby clothes less boring and more colorful. As she created clothes for him, she realized the world could use more color too—and now The Hippie Bean Co. brings vibrant, joyful tie-dye to people of all ages. What started as a creative outlet became a way to connect with people who love feeling unique and confident in what they wear. Remy is passionate about helping others feel seen, celebrated, and comfortable expressing themselves through color and creativity. As a huge advocate of being a stay-at-home mom, she loves the freedom her business has provided for herself and her family. Remy also co-hosts “The Local Babes Co” podcast, where she discusses balancing motherhood, business, and boundaries with honesty and vulnerability. Being a mama is a full-time job within itself, but Remy brings color to the world one tie-dye at a time.

Tie-Dye Party Packages

Every party includes supplies, water pitchers, measuring cups, whisks, funnels, gloves, aprons, elastics, dye, trays, and bags. The host chooses the colors to match any theme.

Product Details

All items are made with custom-mixed colors so every launch varies just a little—because who wants the same thing as someone else? It’s fun to be just a little different. Everything comes pre-rinsed, pre-washed, and pre-dried so any shrinkage happens before you receive it. All items are unisex sizing and depending on the item are either 100% cotton or a 50/50 blend. Inventory is updated regularly on the website, and if you don’t see your size, check back or order custom.
