Nestled in the heart of Newburyport, our intimate 191-seat theater buzzes with activity year-round, presenting a rich tapestry of Firehouse-produced shows, collaborative events, and enriching arts education initiatives. The success of our center is a testament to the collective effort of artists, patrons, donors, local businesses, and dedicated volunteers. Community Access and Inclusion

The Firehouse Center for the Arts proudly participates in the Card to Culture program, an innovative partnership with the Mass Cultural Council, the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector. This initiative underscores our commitment to making the arts accessible to all by offering substantial discounts to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders.
