Give us your best writerly bio.

My name is Susie Rich and I have written a number of short stories and children’s books.  My recent works are “Too Much Hopscotch”, which also has a mural in the Kidsport section in terminals A, B, and C at Boston Logan Airport; “How My Daddy Taught Me To Dance”; “I Don’t Care What You Wear As Long As It’s Clean”; “D.U.A.N.E. Don’t Underestimate Any Natural Elements”; and  “The Whale, The Ocean, The Duck And The Pond”.

Tell us about a North Shore Write Space.

My North Shore writing space is on Bearskin Neck in Rockport MA.  I have a bookstore there called Susie’s Stories Rockport and I love to write in the space surrounded by the ocean.

When I’m in North Shore, not writing, I’m …

When I’m in the North shore not writing, I’m enjoying my grandkids, shopping and taking advantage of all of the wonderful food options around the area.

What are you working on now?

I am currently working on a number of projects.  I am working in collaboration with someone on writing a story about an adorable little dog, and I am also working on a manuscript to highlight social service agency contributions to society.

And finally –

I am stepping out of my comfort zone and have started three novels.  One has been in the works for quite some time. All three are quite different.  The first touches on life as a Director of a homeless shelter. The second is about friendship, love, loss and restoration.  The third is a story about two mothers, two daughters and their dangerous trek to escape an island together and gain their freedom.  All are fictional.
