FREE FAMILY FESTIVAL -FOOD, PERFORMANCE, COMMUNITY

Get your calendars out and ready because we’ve got the must-attend event of the summer – the third annual Diversity Matters Festival! Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, other community leaders, and the North Shore Juneteenth Association (NSJA), we’ve crafted a celebration of culture, diversity, and unity right in the heart of Lynn, Massachusetts, at the stunning Red Rock Park.

The Diversity Matters Festival is also part of the Citywide Lynn Arts and Culture Festival.

Mark August 12, 2023, from 1:00-6:00 PM on your calendars, and brace yourselves for a day of unforgettable entertainment, shopping, and food. Our festival boasts:

  • Face Painting for the Little Ones

Our stage will be set on fire with multicultural dances, music, poetry and performances from diverse artists, including:

  • Braken School of Irish Dance bringing a touch of Ireland to Lynn
  • Eva Davenport Music serving soulful tunes
  • Cultura Latina Dance Academy Inc. setting the stage alight with Latin rhythms
  • Troubadour Soul for those who love a good melody
  • Haus of Snap presenting a mesmerizing dance performance
  • Moonrise Fae bringing fairy magic to life
  • Cambo Culture Crew showcasing Cambodian traditions
  • Michelle La Poetica with her powerful spoken word and hosting skills
  • Annadidathing captivating us all with live art

No festival would be complete without food! A selection of food vendors will be serving traditional cuisines that take you on a gastronomical journey across the world:

  • Thany Por of Thany’s Fine Kitchen LLC for a taste of traditional Cambodian “street” food
  • Wanda Lopez serving Puerto Rican favorites
  • @Sol_Frito delivering Island Paradise Cuisine
  • Underground Catering dishing up pork sliders, pastalitos, fruit bowls, and more
