By Lantern Tours leads small-group historic walking tours through Old Town Marblehead — its streets, harbor overlooks, and burial grounds — told as living stories rather than dates and timelines.

Current walks include REV250: The Town That Carried the Revolution, tracing the fishermen and mariners who helped carry the cause of independence; Marblehead Legends & Lore; and Ghosts & Consequences, an uncensored walk through the town’s darker corners. Tours move at an unhurried pace, with small groups and time to look around and ask questions.

Private tours are available for groups who want their own guide and pace. Founder Andy Maercklein has been featured on WBZ-TV Boston discussing Marblehead’s history.
