About Us

Founded in 1955, the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau (NBCVB) is the official tourism organization for Essex County, Massachusetts. As a private, nonprofit membership organization, we connect travelers with over 200 exceptional businesses while serving as the official liaison between the North of Boston region and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism. Our dedicated team operates the Maria Miles Visitor Center, welcoming over 300,000 travelers annually.
