Originally the Salem Wax Museum, this immersive attraction serves as the anchor of The Haunted Neighborhood, inviting visitors into an interactive world where folklore, fantasy, and history collide through beautifully crafted scenes, moody lighting, and lifelike London-made wax figures. Located on Liberty Street, across from the Peabody Essex Museum and beside the historic Charter Street Burial Ground, Salem Wax offers a family-friendly Halloween experience that’s spooky but never scary, with no jump scares—just photogenic scenes, theatrical details, and hands-on activities designed for interaction and curiosity.
