In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.
At PolitisDesign, we help you build a brand that feels like you. We focus on branding, user experience, website design and development, and business strategy—everything you need to show up strong and confident online and off. Our goal is to demystify the internet for people who make art, not marketing. Whether you’re just starting or ready to grow, we offer hands-on support so you can focus on what you love and never have to figure it out alone. We love working with passionate, creative folks and believe in building a community where ideas flow and inspiration is shared.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.
How an owner thinks, what they care about, and who they are, I can start thinking about how to show that off. I take those vibes and turn them into visuals—translating words, moods, and ideas into designs that not only look right but feel right. It all comes together to create a customer experience that’s both meaningful and fun.
Because I work with such a wide range of businesses, I’m constantly learning something new—and I love that. No two projects are ever the same, and that variety keeps things exciting. I get to carry lessons, insights, and clever tricks from one experience to the next, building a creative toolkit that just keeps growing. It’s never boring, and honestly, variety is the spice of life.
What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
What’s made the biggest impact on us isn’t a book, an event, a movie, or a podcast—it’s AI. Funny enough, those things may have even used it, too. In every meeting, it comes up, from the panicked “AI is coming for our jobs!” to the curious “Can we use AI for that?”
It’s a fascinating—and sometimes overwhelming—topic. As a culture, we’re in a moment of transition, figuring out how to live and work with these tools. My hope? That AI doesn’t replace creative talent but supports everyday life in helpful ways. There’s no substitute for real human creativity—our thoughts, our stories, our spark. As creatives, we should be leading the conversation around AI—not stepping aside while others define its purpose. Let’s not fight every new use, but shape how these tools are used, keeping creativity, curiosity, and care at the center.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
A good creative agency is a mirror– it reflects you. Unlike other creative endeavors, our job is to bring your vision to life, not ours. Whether your story is bold and loud, clean and quiet, maximalist or minimalist, we get into that headspace and play around. Your brand identity should communicate who you are, what you value, and how you work. Our tools and methods are similar for each client, but the outcome can be worlds apart. We’re chameleons of our craft, and we like it this way!
And while great branding should reflect you, great user experience should be invisible. It should quietly guide people through your site in a way that feels natural and intuitive. Visitors should feel curious, excited, and more connected to what you offer with every click. It’s a mix of strategy, design, and a little sleight of hand—where our skills stay behind the scenes so yours can shine.
