In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.
I run Brilliant Lens, a North Shore, Massachusetts based photography studio focused on fine art figure work and weddings. My work centers on presence, light, and form, and I am intentional about creating images that feel authentic and grounded rather than posed or formulaic. Alongside wedding photography, I develop fine art projects that explore the human figure and the artistic dimensions of human sexuality, not as spectacle, but as connection, intimacy, and expression. I approach each project with care and respect, with the goal of creating images that are timeless, honest, and rooted in genuine human experience.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.
I am a fine art photographer drawn to the human figure, presence, and the quiet emotional language of light and form. I do this work because I am deeply interested in human connection, intimacy, and the ways our bodies communicate meaning long before words are involved. Photography, for me, is a way to explore vulnerability, closeness, and the artistic dimensions of human sexuality with honesty and respect, regardless of gender or orientation, and without reducing the subject to spectacle.
Alongside my fine art practice, I photograph weddings because they represent one of the most meaningful intersections of emotion, commitment, and human connection. In both areas of my work, I am motivated by the same passion, to create images that feel truthful, intentional, and rooted in real human experience.
What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
Emotionally driven music frequently resonates with me but the last thing I read or watched that really had an impact on me would be Halt or Catch Fire.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
