Michael LoColle and Courtney Lillie, co-owners of Danvers Wellness Center, have each walked their own unique wellness journeys. While their paths were very different, both ultimately led to the same place—holistic healing.

With backgrounds in personal training, nutrition, and other movement-based modalities, they began their work rooted in the physical aspects of wellness. Over time, they discovered that while movement and nutrition are essential, they’re only part of the equation. This realization opened the door to a deeper, more spiritual path—studying Reiki, Shamanism, inner child work, shadow work, crystals, astrology, and more.

The real transformation came when they began blending the mind, body, and soul. Now, Mike and Courtney are dedicated to helping others who have explored various practices—whether yoga, weight training, meditation, or beyond—but still find themselves facing the same patterns they want to break. Their passion for wellness comes from living it every day and witnessing the profound changes it can create.

What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
Mike: The Sandman on Netflix, specifically season 2, episode 12. This episode is titled “Death”. Death gets a day off to be able to experience humanness. At the end, he realizes that the most beautiful thing is to live.
Courtney: The book “Play” by Stuart Brown. I read this book when someone close to me, who never took life too seriously, was in hospice. This book reminded me that life can pass by without it being fun. It made me grateful for those in my life who had fun even in serious times. Because of this book, I re-learned how to play and recognized that life is way too short for it to be so serious!
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
While we are deeply spiritual, we don’t believe in spiritual bypassing. We meet people where they are, working with the reality of the world around us rather than avoiding it. As practitioners, we’re not immune to life’s challenges—we’re continually doing our own healing work, too. That authenticity and shared humanity is what makes our approach so relatable and impactful for the people we serve.
