The Woman’s Friend Society provides affordable housing for women in a safe and supportive environment in the historic Emmerton House.

We offer a five-year residency to our residents. In that time they are able to obtain a degree, acquire a skill and save money to move forward in life. Many of our residents express the relief they feel not having to worry about housing and having a safe place to live where they can now concentrate on improving their lives.
