The Peabody Essex Museum, in collaboration with Creative Collective, held its 3rd annual Summer Block Party on July 27th. The highly successful party has grown throughout all of its iterations and is now what it is today. There were vendors selling their beautiful creations, music housed in The Wandering Stage with an incredible line up of performers, food trucks galore, and the museum was open and free during the Block Party.

What started as a one-time, free outdoor party to celebrate the Peabody Essex Museum’s historic houses, has morphed into a giant community party, featuring local creatives, makers, businesses, musical talent and more.

About the Peabody Essex Museum:

Founded in 1799, it is also the country’s oldest continuously operating museum. At its heart is a mission to enrich and transform people’s lives by broadening their perspectives, attitudes, and knowledge of themselves and the wider world. PEM celebrates outstanding artistic and cultural creativity through exhibitions, programming and special events that emphasize cross-cultural connections, integrate past and present and underscore the vital importance of creative expression.
