Salem Arts Association is hosting a reception for new exhibitions this Friday, August 5, 6-8pm in their galleries at 159 Derby Street, Salem, MA.  Salem Arts Association continues their 2022 Solo Series with exhibitions by member artists Mary Szeman Best and Brian Best titled “This That and the Other Thing” and by member artist Sandra Golbert titled “Collection” and an ongoing exhibition of works by artist Paul Nathan. Also on display is “Observance,” the 16th Annual PEM Inspirational Exhibit.  Salem Arts Association asked its members to visit the Zachary Logan: Remembrance exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum and to reflect on it and the Covid-19 pandemic to create works in observance of our personal and collective experience. Exhibition Dates: July 30 – August 27, 2022 About Salem Arts Association: Salem Arts Association is an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit arts organization that brings art, in all its forms, to the community and brings the community, in all its diversity, to the arts in Salem, Massachusetts. Since incorporating as a non-profit corporation in 2007, Salem Arts Association has produced hundreds of exhibitions, events, and workshops for Salem’s residents and visitors. Salem Arts Galleries and Shop are located at 159 Derby Street adjacent to the Salem Maritime National Historic Site in Salem, MA. Regular gallery hours are 12-6 on Saturdays and Sundays.
