‘The Art of Wine’ Grand Wine Tasting set for Saturday, June 8th

Proceeds to benefit The House of the Seven Gables

‘The Art of Wine’ Grand Wine Tasting has been announced for Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at the historic House of the Seven Gables. Approximately 100 wines will be available for tasting on the Gables beautiful outdoor lawn area overlooking Salem Harbor. Guests will also enjoy light bites and music. Proceeds from this charitable event benefit the Gables. The event is spearheaded by Salem Wine Imports. It will feature tastings of many premiere wines including some valued at up to $100 per bottle.

“We are excited for everyone to come together and enjoy so many fantastic wines and varietals – including some high-end wines that are truly unique,” says Salem Wine Imports owner Kathy Genis. “Most importantly, it’s an enjoyable way to support this wonderful historic property and their mission.”

The evening will also include a silent auction featuring bottled wine and a Gift Certificate for two for a Salem Food Tour. Wine can be ordered on the day of the event. “We encourage attendees to take advantage of the generous case discounts on the wine, the savings are tremendous. With summer coming you’ll get a chance to compare so many terrific wines for your indoor or outdoor dinner party” says Genis. “Event tickets also make for a perfect Mother’s Day gift, or for the wine lover in your life.”

The event will run rain or shine (tent covering tasting area) from 5:00pm-8: 00 pm.
