This summer, the beloved tale of Dorothy and her journey through Oz comes to life at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly. As part of their milestone 70th anniversary season, NSMT presents a fresh, imaginative production of The Wizard of Oz from July 8-20, 2025.

“Throughout the years, The Wizard of Oz has become a timeless tale that continues to enchant audiences around the globe,” shares NSMT owner and producer Bill Hanney. With the recent resurgence of interest in the world of Oz, this production promises to breathe new life into the treasured story through innovative direction and vibrant choreography.
The production features all the beloved songs from the 1939 MGM film, including “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Follow the Yellow Brick Road,” and “Merry Old Land of Oz.” Director Robert W. Schneider and choreographer Briana Fallon lead a creative team dedicated to creating a magical theatrical experience for families of all ages.
