Greater Salem Ballet Nutcracker 2025 | Salem Holiday Event

The magic of the holiday season came to life on December 20 as The Greater Salem Ballet Company took the stage at Lynn Auditorium for their beloved production of The Nutcracker. This year, Salem resident Olivia Meechin danced the role of Clara, leading audiences on a magical journey through the Battle of the Mice, the enchanted Christmas Tree forest, and into the Palace of Sweets.

Produced in conjunction with A Performing Arts Academy in Salem, The Greater Salem Ballet Company’s mission is to allow dance students to perform in professional-quality productions while learning in a warm, encouraging environment. The result? Pure holiday magic on stage.

The Greater Salem Ballet Company’s Nutcracker was part of the inaugural Salem Holiday Happenings initiative, a collaborative effort by Creative Collective and Salem Main Streets to create a cohesive holiday experience for Salem’s residents and visitors. From Santa’s Arrival and the Tree Lighting to Wassail Weekend and LAUNCH!, Holiday Happenings brought the community together throughout the 2025 holiday season.
