In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.

Hi, I’m Avash reaching out from Bridges Nepali Cuisine located in Winthrop, MA. I have been in the food and beverage field for almost 21 years, from running a bar, a diner, and a sandwich joint, to finally settling with my roots. Not only our food but almost everything in our brick and mortar is handcrafted, from tables, counters, picture frames, plant stands, this and that. Our space is filled with big huge plants that have been a part of our journey since they were little, which has been awesome. Just trying to live life and share a few things we have learnt in the course of time and trying to improve our craft with new experiences and interactions.

Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.

I have always been a hands on guy, very analog. An admirer of anything creative and easily fascinated by talent of a diverse range. The many numbers of events and organizations that exist in and around Boston to uplift and encourage talent and give a platform for independent creators and vendors is so awesome and I’m very happy to be a part of this community and share a few things I know how to do.

What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?

I watched Steve Irwin holding an American Bald Eagle and having a conversation with him. It was pure and awesome and made me feel good.

What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
My mom’s Hindu, Son’s Christian and Daughter’s Muslim so I get to eat and celebrate pretty much everything.
