In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.

Founded in 2024 by Gladys Muñoz, MPH, MBA, IntiNova Consulting was born from a simple but urgent mission: to close the gaps in access, support, and opportunity that disproportionately affect small business owners—especially BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQ+, and women entrepreneurs.

After witnessing firsthand the inequities in how founders access social capital, financial resources, and strategic guidance, IntiNova was created to offer a different kind of support—one rooted in cultural awareness, compassion, and clarity.

Today, IntiNova Consulting partners with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and community-centered organizations across industries. We help them build with strategy, structure, confidence, and sustainability. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing to scale, we provide hands-on consulting in business development, marketing, branding, and financial readiness so you can grow with purpose and resilience.

Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.

I’m Gladys (she/they), founder and CEO of IntiNova Consulting.

I started IntiNova after recognizing that the same inequities I saw in public health—health disparities, systemic barriers, and underserved communities—were also deeply embedded in the business landscape.

Many entrepreneurs were navigating complex systems alone, without the support or culturally informed guidance they needed. That didn’t sit right with me.

I bring both my professional background in business strategy, marketing, and financial development, and my lived experiences as a first-generation Latina and LGBTQ+ founder. Alongside my team, we’re committed to building supportive, accessible pathways so that small business owners and nonprofit leaders can grow without burning out or feeling lost in the process.

My passion is simple: to help people build the businesses and community initiatives they dream of, with the support they deserve.

What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?

The last book I read was Dare to Lead by Brené Brown, which continues to influence how I show up as a leader—with courage, empathy, and clarity.

For fun, I love watching anime on Crunchyroll and reading manga. Stories about resilience and character development always inspire me creatively and personally.

What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
People are often surprised to learn that IntiNova is intentionally affordable, accessible, and community-centered. We’re not traditional consultants—we lead with empathy, cultural understanding, and a holistic approach. We support your business strategy, yes, but we care about you as a person first. Our work focuses on uplifting people, not just improving processes.
