In your words… Tell us about your organization, business, initiative.
Our mission is to champion kinesthetic awareness and enhance transformation of the body. We aspire to help the community we live in by providing assisted-stretch, recovery-focused massage, and personal training services to combat the repetitive and the surging sedentary lifestyle.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do? Share your passions for your business, initiative, organization.
Jovani, Eric, and Mena came from very different cultural backgrounds, but the passion is the same. Our goal is to cultivate the demand for overall health, wellness, and recovery. Movement is art. We just help you move better.
What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community? OR your community in general. (Bonus! Why do you think a more creative community is important?)
JEM Body Alchemist believes in positive encouragement and guidance to feeling better overall. When a community feels physically healthy, we open up more opportunities to connect through movement and freedom of expression.
What was the last book you read OR What was the last video you watched that made an impact on you?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
We had no business guidance when we opened our doors. We were just three 20-somethings with bodywork skill and passion.
