In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.
Lifebridge aims to provide individuals the tools they need to make healthy decisions and end their homelessness. This can be anything from a bed and a meal, to resume assistance and job search assistance, to help with housing applications and permanent supportive services and behavioral health assistance.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.
We believe in the worth and dignity of every human being and strive to ensure that those who are most vulnerable have a safe place to find resources and services. Our goal is to “meet people where they are at,” and provide help at every stage a person may be struggling with.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
Lifebridge North Shore is not only a shelter, but also owns several units for formerly homeless individuals and provides ongoing case management to help keep people housed. We also are building up our first on-site behavioral health team and operate River House, the sole women-only shelter on the North Shore.
