Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on the historic Salem Common. This Heritage Days favorite is set to be a highlight of the summer, rain or shine! A Taste of the North Shore
The Ice Scream Bowl offers a unique opportunity to sample some of the best ice cream the North Shore has to offer. This year’s lineup features an impressive array of local favorites, including:
- Cherry Farm Creamery
- Harbor Sweets
- Holy Cow Ice Cream Café
- Melt Ice Cream
- Whimsy’s Sweet Life
And there’s more to come! Additional participants will be announced as the event approaches, so stay tuned for updates.
Sweet Deals and Green Initiatives
For just $6 for adults and $4 for children, you can indulge in a variety of classic flavors and innovative combinations. Tickets are available for purchase on-site on the day of the event (cash only). Each ticket comes with a spoon and napkins, and in keeping with Salem’s commitment to sustainability, all materials used at the event will be recyclable or compostable.
More Than Just Ice Cream
While the frozen treats take center stage, the Ice Scream Bowl offers much more:
- Dance to Sweet Beats: Local DJs, the Salem Halloween Girls, will spin tunes to keep your energy high and your feet moving.
- Community Connections: Various community groups, including Superintendent Zrike, will be on-site as part of the Salem Public School’s Neighborhood Walk & Talk Initiative.
- Movie Under the Stars: After the Ice Scream Bowl, stick around for the Salem Common Neighborhood Association’s Movie Night, featuring “Jumanji” at 8 p.m. Don’t forget your blankets and camp chairs!
