In your words… Tell us about your organization, business, initiative.
The Hive is a new modern collaborative workspace located in the heart of Salem. Our goal is to bridge the gap between your office and your community by offering the privacy and security of individual offices with shared common areas to aid in growth and expansion.

TDG Management provides real estate management and associated services to its clients. We pride ourselves on delivering and managing projects that provide opportunities of growth for both our clients and the community. Our local presence and Tenant focused management style have given TDG Management a strong reputation in the community we serve.
What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community? OR your community in general. (Bonus! Why do you think a more creative community is important?)
As property managers, we have opportunity to introduce new and existing residents to other businesses within the community. With The Hive Workspace, we have taken that to the next level introducing new businesses to our residential community. We believe that through these connections, new ideas and relationships will flourish encouraging a stronger, more vibrant community. We strive to fill our retail space with local businesses, preferably within the creative community, that can benefit our residents inspire growth.
What was the last book you read OR What was the last video you watched that made an impact on you?
The Giver (re-read) by Lois Lowry – The only book I have ever read twice.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you our your business?
Dodge Street and Derby Street were once underwater and the connection between Mill and Salem Harbor. The urban canal can still be seen under Derby Street if you remove certain manholes (but don’t try that without prior authorization!)
