Exercise and refine your art skills the classic way by drawing from a nude model. Sessions are open to all, regardless of one’s level of experience. Bring your medium of choice and a drop cloth, if working with paints. A limited number of easels are available. Please note: Please be prompt. Due to weekend foot traffic, the door will be locked after 9:30 am. Latecomers please call Dorothy on her cell.

A clothed model will be available each week. Bring your medium of choice and a drop cloth if working with paints. A limited number of easels are available.
We are also looking for models to pose and will be paying $45 for the three hour session. There is no need for previous experience modeling.

Projects will include acrylic painting on foam board, paper mâché and drawing with an emphasis on exploring the student’s individual process. The use of compositions, basic drawing principles and an understanding of values will be taught. Students will be encouraged to push themselves and explore new methods. Instruction includes how to create artwork off an electronic device without using an app, mixing colors with a limited palette and the tools used in building a good painting.
